Day 1-3, Laikipia: Sabuk Lodge
On arrival into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to Wilson Airport for the Safarilink scheduled flight to Nanyuki departing at 10h20. On arrival at the Loisaba Airstrip, your driver/guide will meet you and transfer you to Sabuk Lodge.
Sabuk Lodge offers a peaceful location in the spectacular wilderness of Northern Laikipia on the high banks of Ewaso Nyiro River overlooking the Laikipia Plateau and Samburu land. The lodge welcomes families with children; however is also ideal for couples or small groups travelling together.
Sabuk Lodge offers 6 cottages, 3 with King size beds, 2 with twin beds and 1 family room. The units are open at the front offering beautiful views of the river and cliffs. Each thatched cottage is unique and tastefully decorated, built from local stone, cedar and olivewood found in the local area. Facilities include en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets and private verandas. The lodge is renowned for its luxurious baths; cottages 4 and 5 are amongst the favourites with deep stone baths and sweeping views. The lodge offers an intimate atmosphere with an open dining room and lounge. The lodge offers gourmet cuisine either served in the dining area or on your private veranda.

Day 4-6, Mathews Range, Kitich Camp
This morning you will be transferred to the airstrip for your private charter flight to Kitich Camp departing at 10h00. On arrival you will be met by a Kitich Camp representative and transferred to the camp. Accommodation is booked for 3 nights on a full board basis.
The Mathews Mountain Range rise up out of the desert; a chain of peaks covered in dense dewy forest. Within this lush indigenous forest, Kitich Camp is an idyllic hideaway and an authentic ‘bush camp’, offering its guests a private and unique forest wildlife experience in Africa. The forest is home to elephant, leopard, bushbuck, buffalo, as well as ancient cycads, spectacular butterflies, Turacos and wild orchids. With only six guest tents, one can expect complete privacy. Each en suite tent is traditionally safari-style, with an al-fresco stone bathroom. Taking advantage of the pristine wilderness, Kitich Camp avoids traditional game drives, instead encouraging guests to explore these wild environs on foot, guided by local guides. Swim in natural rock pools formed by crystal clear mountain streams, learn traditional ways of tracking wildlife while being guided by local warriors along dense forest paths, and unwind by a cozy log fire on chilly evenings with nothing but the sights and sounds of this pure wilderness.

Day 7-9, Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Elephant Pepper Camp
Elephant Pepper Camp is situated in the prime core of the protected Mara North Conservancy wilderness area. In the same location for 20 years, one of the original, very small and exclusive tented camps, Elephant Pepper is located away from other lodges, in the heart of the African bush. Our spacious canvas tents are comfortably furnished, featuring ensuite bathrooms with flush toilets and traditional safari showers. Nothing rivals sitting around the campfire enjoying the sounds of the African night. Enjoying extended game drives in the best equipped 4x4 game drive vehicles, clients participate in the most unique wildlife experience in the world. Elephant Pepper Camp brings people back to nature ~ no traffic, no permanent structures, just the sights and sounds of the African bush.
Day 10, Departure
After a last game drive in the Masai Mara, at 10h00 you will be transferred to the airstrip to catch the 11h00 Safarilink flight back to Nairobi. Arriving at 12h15, Our representative will meet and transfer you to your Nairobi hotel or to the international airport for your journey home
